Susan Deaton is a graduate of the University of Dayton School of Law. She was admitted to the practice of law in 2018 and began working in family law before establishing her career in civil litigation. Susan previously worked for three years focusing her practice on defending political subdivisions and their employees in both state and federal courts and before the EEOC and OCRC. Her areas of experience include: Township Law; Zoning and Land Use; Local Governance; Employment Litigation; Civil Rights Litigation; Personal Injury; Premises Liability; Police Misconduct; FMLA, FLSA and ADA; Governmental Immunities, and Subrogation. She has both extensive motion practice and trial experience and has handled cases from complaint through resolution.

When she is not at work, Susan enjoys spending time with her children and being outside as much as possible. She is an avid roller skater and often practicing new tricks and spins on the neighborhood streets. In the evenings she enjoys knitting on the couch and watching comedies.
