Prior to law school, Daniel served as an intelligence officer in the United States Air Force, supporting both strategic decision makers and tactical operators before retiring at the rank of Captain.

After graduating cum laude from the University of Dayton School of Law, he clerked at the High Court in the U.S. territory of American Samoa, where he dealt with both trial and appellate cases on a wide range of legal subjects. He returned to Dayton to serve as term clerk to the Honorable Walter H. Rice at the Dayton seat of the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Ohio. Immediately prior to joining Young & Alexander, Daniel worked at the Dayton office of Reminger Co., LPA, where he represented clients in medical malpractice.

Daniel is a member of the Dayton and American Samoa Bar Associations, the Karl. D. Kessler Inn of Court, and the Federalist Society.
