Firm Overview

History

We are one of the oldest law firms in Southwest Ohio. Our roots go back to 1931. The named partners in the firm, Robert F. Young and Robert C. Alexander, were influential leaders in the Dayton legal community for over half of the 20th century.

Mission

Robert C. Alexander was the founder of the firm’s litigation mission which focuses on aggressive court room skills when representing insurers, businesses and employers. Robert F. Young was the founder of the firm’s business law mission, which focuses on timely, cost effective advice to businesses and individuals.

Technology

We believe technology is one of the best methods for achieving our clients’ goals. The firm has a fixed-rate contract with LexisNexis, which means our clients do not pay an additional hourly rate for online research. We use award-winning case management software for speedy case handling, improved communication, and accuracy.

Wireless Internet

All firm offices and meeting spaces offer wireless access to broadband internet and firm intranet portals for attorneys and clients alike.

Environment

Document management is largely digitized, reducing paper-handling and postage expenses for our clients.

Communication

Attorneys provide active updates about their qualifications and accomplishments to current and potential clients via social networking on Linkedin, a free and online resource which anyone can access.
