Erin is a member of the Dayton Bar Association, Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys (OACTA), and is also an associate board member of the Dayton Area Chapter of the American Red Cross.

In law school, Erin clerked at the Montgomery County Probate court under Judge Alice O. McCollum. She also served as a legal intern for the University of Dayton Law Clinic where she provided legal representation to indigent clients in the criminal division of the Dayton Municipal Court.

Aside from practicing law, Erin enjoys volunteering in the community. Prior to becoming an attorney Erin was a member of Americorps' City Year program where she served as a literacy tutor and participated in various community service projects in Columbus Ohio. More recently, Erin volunteered her time as co-chair of the Dayton Bar Association's 4th annual "5 for the Kids" 5k race and fitness walk. Under Erin's direction, the event raised over $10,000.00 for CARE House, Dayton's advocacy center for abused and neglected children.
